2 Gal. Ultra Cedar Transparent Wood Stain/Sealer with Pump Sprayer/Fan Tip

If you’ve got a new or old fence that you need to protect, is the way to go. Delivered to my front door pump and product altogether. After using it, I drained it and cleaned it and it’s ready to use again. Just have to buy the good Wood RX. By the way, they did not carry this in the store. You have to order it online. This product is amazing! The stain is gorgeous, it's already mixed and comes with it's own sprayer. Just attach, cover any places you do not want any overspray. We used large cardboard boxes broken down to cover the house and plants. We used this on a new section of cedar fencing and it worked perfectly. Fast delivery, no damage. WILL definitely use again next Spring when we replace more pieces of our huge fence.

Used this on white cedar fence. Supposed to be transparent but it’s orange colored and now so is my fence. Hope it at least protects it. Also very watery and you really need a brush to keep from showing drips.

Nice spraying system for staining a fence. It went on well but it goes fast keeping. moving along otherwise it doesn't cover what is says it will. First time using so I may have stayed to long on one area before moving on. However that's why they say it's best to use to coats of stain. It does go on evenly and does not overlap or streak but I will have to do another coat, good stuff!

* UPDATE * See my pictures below. I order a Cedar color. This dishonest company filled my order with the Natural Tone color and put a sticker over it that said Cedar. So, who knows what color I'll get when I order more to finish my fence. I purchased the Wood RX Ultra Cedar. The color does not seem right it is a burnt orange. I used this on a new fence and only got about 200sf of coverage per gallon...about half the noted coverage due to the amount soaked up by the wood. So, I have to buy another 2 gallons. So, even though my wife hates the color, I have no choice, I have to finish the project. We'll see if the next two gallons is the same burnt orange. I can only hope that I can change to a darker, brown color later. For now, we'll have to tolerate it. It was easy to apply, however. Sprayed it on, brushed it to remove drips. Very quick. Just ugly with our colored concrete.

I purchased two of these to re-stain a small cabin. It was very nice to have it already in a sprayer so there was no pouring or needing other things just to deal with transfer of stain to or from other containers. All you have to do is decide on the width of pattern based on what you are spraying. I used the yellow tip which is for stain and also is the widest pattern. Once I put the extension tube and nozzle on I gave it ten or so pumps and sprayed away. You will have drops build up depending on how well the wood absorbs the stain. Just use a cloth to knock down the drops. It dried very quickly. Time will tell if this stain holds up as good as the last. The process went very fast and it was easy to use a piece of cardboard to block areas around windows while staining.

I highly recommend this product. The pump sprayer is a quality item and will last for many more applications. The WoodRx sealer is easy to apply and has a very nice natural color to it. Dry time is quick and cleanup is easy. I would recommend Krud Kutter to remove any overspray that my get on siding or gutters that are close to the item being sealed. I will use this product again.

Bought 6 of these and all 6 sprayers worked adequately, some better than others. Need to patiently adjust the nozzle (keep the nozzle pointing away from you!) to spray as fine of a mist as possible and expect to pump frequently and be attentive to turn off the plastic control valve if you stop to pump. It's not a finely calibrated instrument but is sufficient to do the job if you are careful. Also, after pumping, you lock the pump in place by turning slightly to the left, but if you turn too vigorously then the top will unscrew and spray all over. Be careful. I am very pleased with the color of the stain on my cedar fence with treated pine posts. Since you can spray faster than the wood can absorb the product it is better to spray a light coating that doesn't just drip to the ground which is a complete waste. A second coat was needed to get the consistency of the coat and color that I wanted, so the product does not cover as much area as claimed since you'll probably need to do it twice. Hence, be prepared to spend more $. Photos show the front portion of my fence compared with my neighbors on each side. I put another coat on after these photos. BTW... my fence looked just as gray as the neighbor in the first photo before having my fence pressure washed and putting on the Wood RX stain so the photos are equivalent to before & after. The second photo shows my fence compared to my other side neighbor after he washed his fence. Just did this a few weeks ago so the long-term durability and value is yet to be determined.

Well, I have a 12x12 deck, with the railing, and about 12 steps. it took 2 of these bad boys to cover it good ONCE! I didn't have to buy two more to have two coats so the color looks more even. I didn't even stain the underside of my deck to save on product. Only on the sides where it's visible. I think the color is way too red, and also now the surface of my deck is very smooth and feels slippery. I have to be super careful going down the steps now, because I don't want to wipe out! And... the nozzle sprayer doesn't spray a fine mist as shown in the video. It dispenses a large amount of product, which is why for the railing I actually applied it with a brush so I don't waste as much product. It does dry super fast!
