OVERVIEW

The Achilles Desert Hawk XMT is a mud terrain, summer tire manufactured for SUV and light truck vehicles.

This tire provides superb summer weather traction. It grips the road exceptionally in wet and dryconditions, increasing the safety in those weather situations. The tire's tread pattern helps resist hydroplaning by eliminating water and mud from below the footprint of the tire. The tire also has excellent mud terrain traction, owing to its aggressive tread pattern. The tread has good grip on all loose or uneven surfaces, as the three-step tread block design offers excellent off-road traction. It especially excels in mud terrain conditions, as the aggressive tread disperses mud and maintains constant road contact. The tire can conquer on off-road surfaces thanks to this design.

The aggressive tread pattern with the three-step tread block design also improved the braking and cornering abilities of the tire. The tread pattern increases the summer braking capability, as it creates friction at the point of braking. This shortens the braking distance. The tread block design provides additional biting edges while cornering. The better road grip in these situations enhances the cornering ability and power of the tire. Combined, these two aspects create a safer driving experience.

The tire's sidewall was manufactured with the X-Protection sidewall design.
