OVERVIEW

The Americus RS 2000 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's steer axle.

The tire offers great all weather traction. The tread design and the all season tire compound improve the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The compound keeps the rubber flexibility, while the tread upgrades the grip the tire has on the road surface with the optimal siping detail. The model helps prevent hydroplaning. The circumferential grooves effectively disperse water and slush from below the tire's footprint, providing a secure performing capability.

The tread's constant road contact boosts its controllability all year round. The ribbed tread design with the solid shoulder ribs enhances the steering responsiveness and driving stability. In this manner, the steering is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model. This results in safer all weather performance as the tire is more responsive to the driver's instructions.

The RS 2000 guarantees a fuel efficient performance. The ribbed tread pattern decreases the tire's rolling resistance by easing the driving pressure off the tire while the vehicle is in motion.
