OVERVIEW

The Atlas Tire AT08CC is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on all axle positions.

The tire promotes great all weather traction. The aggressive ribbed tread design and the zigzag groove pattern work together to increase the dry, wet and winter weather traction. The aggressive tread design increases the tire's contact with the road surface which boosts the model's performing capability in various conditions. The zigzag circumferential grooves are also capable of avoiding hydroplaning, dispersing water and slush from below the footprint. The detailed tread pattern also enables the tire to safely perform on different terrain surface conditions, as it firmly grips the road surface throughout the drive.

The symmetric ribbed pattern improves the controllability significantly. The maintained road and terrain surface contact of the flat footprint enables the model to upgrade the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting the model. The better stability and responsive steering enable the tire to improve the year round control over the vehicle.

The AT08CC was designed with a reinforced construction. The internal structure features full length steel belts that keep the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure affecting the model. This guarantees the tire to carry and withstand heavy loads without deformation of the ideal tire shape. In this manner, the tire ensures a secure performing capability with heavy loads which promotes a safer driving experience.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
