OVERVIEW

The Blackhawk BAR02 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model is made for all axle positions.

The ribbed tread design and the year-round compound offers great all weather traction. The tread design follows the road all the time. On the other hand, the all season compound keeps the rubber flexible in hot summer and cold winter temperatures. These elements enable the tire's safe performance in dry, wet, and winter conditions. Wide circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning, by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint and boost wet weather performance.

The model enhances controllability. This tread design and stronger construction allow the tire to maintain consistent road contact, which improves steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering response becomes faster and more precise to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. The ribbed tread design and the close road contact also guarantee excellent cornering and maneuvering ability. This tread design guarantees the driver full control over the vehicle at all times.

The tire also lengthens its service life and usability. The ribbed tread design can evenly distribute driving pressure along the tread, while the rubber compound slows the treadwear rate. This combination significantly prevents irregular and premature wear formations across the tread. The slower and even wear can extend the tire's tread life.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
