OVERVIEW

The Bridgestone Ecopia R268 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted in all axle positions on the vehicle.

The tire promotes a secure all weather performance. The detailed symmetric ribbed pattern features a high number of rib edges sipes that increase the number of biting edges. This enables the tire to firmly grip the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather surface conditions. The model's special all season compound keeps the rubber flexibility throughout the year, which ensues a safer performance. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the footprint, maintaining the tire's constant contact with the road surface. This combination guarantees the tire's performing capability.

The model's special tread design, stronger structure and durable tire compound help extend its usability. The NanoPro-Tech compound is wear-resistant and it slows the tread wear rate down greatly. The full steel belt structure stabilizes the tread elements and prevent tread flexing during the drive. The symmetric ribbed pattern features a special groove shape, which prevents rib tearing, a waved channel design and an optimized rib distribution to boost the even pressure circulation. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
