The Bridgestone Potenza S001 (AO) tire is a summer touring tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.

The tire is marked AO, which means it was specially manufactured and is an Audi Original tire. It has met Audi's rigorous criteria to achieve the AO marking. It provides great safety, comfort and driving stability on any road surface.

This tire has excellent wet and dry traction, due to the asymmetric tread design, and it keeps a steady grip on the road in those conditions. This model is not recommended for use in winter, as the tire compound cannot handle the colder weather, making it unsafe. The tread design's lateral and circumferential grooves channel the water from beneath the tire's footprint, efficiently avoiding hydroplaning situations.

The model's spiral wrap, that encircles the whole tire with a continuous nylon wrap, maintains the tire's shape at higher speeds, improving its capabilities, directional stability and performance. The continuous center rib in the tread pattern enhances the tire's steering precision, making its handling effortless.

The Potenza S001 (AO)'s driving force (the force of acceleration, cornering and braking) is evenly distributed along its road contact surface, which promotes even wear. The reinforced steel belt construction increases its durability and resistance to punctures, making the tire last longer.
