OVERVIEW

The Bridgestone Turanza EL42 is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This model has some high performance sizes as well.

This model provides superb all weather traction and it grips the road well in dry, wet and winter weather. The tire's specific tread design offers grip even in winter conditions and the tread compound does not lose its traction in the colder winter temperatures. The tire is also safe to be used in rainy weather or through deeper water, as the lateral and circumferential grooves resist dangerous hydroplaning.

The tire has excellent durability and driving stability. The steel belt construction of the tire provides additional durability at high speeds. The tire maintains its shape even under the high speed driving pressure, enhancing its performance. The steel belt internal structure also makes the tire resistant to accidental punctures. The spiral wrap construction of the tire increases the driving stability of the tire. This also helps maintain the tire's shape, and as the tire does not deform under the driving pressure it is safer to maneuver with it.

The steering accuracy and responsiveness of the tire was also improved. The large rectangular tread blocks in the tread pattern keep constant contact with a road, which makes the tire easier to control. As the tire responds to the commands of the driver, it becomes swift and precise in its response.
