The Bridgestone Turanza T001 RFT (MOExtended) is a performance and high performance, summer tire made for passenger vehicles. This model is the run flat-like original equipment tire of select Mercedes-Benz vehicles.

The model offers excellent summer traction. The asymmetric tread design and the summer compound enhance the tire’s performance in dry and wet conditions. In this manner, the optimized tread pattern closely follows the road surface in the summer season, while the summer compound prevents heat accumulation along the tread area in warmer temperatures. The optimized grooves on the tread area effectively resist hydroplaning, by eliminating water from the footprint in wet-weather conditions. This combination guarantees the tire’s safe driving experience.

This is a run flat tire model. This tire offers a limited, temporary performance after air pressure loss. The strengthened structure withstands the weight of the vehicle and its passengers, enabling the tire’s 50-mile, 50-mph performance in case of air pressure loss. This enables the vehicle to safely arrive at a nearby location where the tire can be fixed or changed. As a result, it is not stranded on the side of the road. These tires cannot be mounted on the same vehicle together with regular tires.

Fuel-efficient performance is guaranteed with this tire. The asymmetric tread design and the durable rubber compound ease the pressure off the tire.
