OVERVIEW

The Cavalry DP500 is a highway terrain, all season tire made for commercial vehicles. This model is made to be mounted on drive axle positions.

Superb controllability is provided with this model, thanks to the tread's road contact. The ribbed center tread area maintains surface contact, boosting steering responsiveness and driving stability. On the other hand, the shoulder details provide additional biting edges, which greatly improve the tire's cornering. The groove and sipe placement create friction when braking, significantly shortening the tire's stopping distance. These enhancements allow the tire's secured handling and maneuvering at all times.

Excellent year-round traction is provided with this tire. The tread design and the all season compound boost dry, wet, and winter-weather grip on the road surface. The tread's siping and notch placement firmly grips the road surface with extra biting edges, while the compound keeps the rubber flexible in versatile temperatures. The groove pattern helps to prevent hydroplaning, by eliminating water and slush from the footprint. This significantly upgrades the model's wet-weather driving safety levels.

Extended service life is guaranteed with this model. The special silica compound is wear-resistant. In other words, it slows the tread wear rate down significantly. Other than this, the tire also evenly distributes the driving pressure across the tread area, which prevents irregular wear patterns from forming across the tread. The longevity of the even tread ensures an extended tire life and usability.

The Cavalry DP500 offers great load and driving durability. The strengthened and flexible carcass structure enables the tire to significantly increase its larger load capacity. Since the construction does not deform under load and driving pressure, the model is able to effectively enhance its heavy-duty applications. This enables the tire's exceptional performance under large loads.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
