OVERVIEW

The Continental Conti EcoPlus HT3 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. The tire was made to be mounted on the vehicle's trailer axle. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.

The tire promotes excellent all weather traction. The symmetric tread design, with the siping detail, and the all season tire compound improve the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The compound provides great rubber flexibility throughout the year, from the heat of summer to colder temperatures, while the siped tread design firmly grips the road surface. The tire manages to avoid hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint with the four circumferential grooves. The enhanced hydroplaning resistance and all weather traction increase the year round driving safety.

The model guarantees a fuel efficient performance. The special fuel saving compound and the Fuel Saving Edge groove walls lower the model's rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the external pressure affecting the tire which determines how much energy the vehicle need to keep the tires in motion. The reduced rolling resistance eases the driving pressure off the tires, which decreases the towing or commercial vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. In this manner, the tire ensures a fuel conscious and environmentally friendly driving experience.

The Conti EcoPlus HT3 provides a lengthened tread life. The optimal tread design and the durable compound extend the tire's usability. The tread evenly circulates the forces of acceleration, cornering and braking across the tread area. The equally distributed driving pressure prevents irregular tread wear formations, which offer a longer lasting tread and service life. The durable compound slows the tread wear down, thanks to its wear-resistant durability.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
