OVERVIEW

The Cosmo CT708 Plus is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for commercial trucks. This model needs to be placed on the driver wheel position for it to perform well.

The special tread design features four circumferential grooves and a combination of rib and lug patterns. They enhance the all weather traction by ensuring dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The wide circumferential grooves also prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire footprint, which also boosts the wet weather road gripping ability. The tread design also is self-cleaning in its nature. The tread grooves eject rocks stuck between the tread elements to prevent stone retention, which can harm the tread area. The better road grip and hydroplaning resistance guarantees a safer driving experience.

The tread pattern's rib and lug pattern improve the tread life and tire usability. The tread life is extended as the tread design maintains constant road contact. The improved contact evenly spreads the driving pressure out across the tread area. The equal distribution of the forces of acceleration, cornering and braking prevents irregular wear patterns from forming across the tread area, which lengthens the tread life and tire usability. Furthermore, the advanced tread design lowers the heat creation which allows the tire to perform well during long distance drives. The tire's strengthened casing enables it to withstand retreading if needed.
