OVERVIEW

The Double Coin FT105 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's trailer axle. This tire is NOT MEANT TO BE MOUNTED ON LIGHT TRUCKS, as its construction will not support the weight and performing style of such vehicles. It can ONLY BE MOUNTED ON TRAILERS.

The tire promotes a fuel efficient performance. It manages to combine the excellent traction of the optimal tire compound and the decreased weight of the construction to reduce the rolling resistance affecting the model during its performance. As the driving pressure is eased off the tread area to improve the fuel efficiency. They reduce the rolling resistance, which is the pressure that determines how much energy the vehicle needs to maintain the tire's motion. The lowered rolling resistance lessens the vehicle's fuel intake and CO2 emissions, guaranteeing a fuel efficient and environmentally conscious driving experience.

The model offers an extended service life. It lengthens the tread life by allowing the tread design, the compound and the decreased pressure to work together. The durable, wear-resistant tire compound lowers the tread wear rate. The reduced rolling resistance eases the driving pressure off the tread area, which along with the evenly distributed forces of acceleration, cornering and braking, avoids the formation of irregular tread wear on the tire's surface. The longer lasting even tread wear and the slower tread wear rate lengthen the tread life and the tire's usability significantly.

The FT105 increases the tire's year round traction. The all season compound and the symmetric ribbed tread pattern, with its siping detail, improves the firm grip the tire has on dry, wet and winter weather roads. The siping detail of the ribbed pattern provides additional biting edges that firmly grip the road surface throughout the tire's performance. The all weather compound improves the tire's weather flexibility and prevents weather damage, while also upgrading the traction. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. In this manner, the tire ensures first-rate driving safety.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
