OVERVIEW

The Dunlop SP Sport 5000 DSST CTT is a high performance all season run flat tire manufactured for performance vehicles.

The tire promotes excellent all weather traction. The road gripping ability is enhanced with the asymmetric tread pattern's independent inner tread blocks that improve the road gripping ability in dry, wet and winter weather. The circumferential and lateral grooves improve the water and slush dispersing ability and actively prevent hydroplaning in deeper water. This ensures a safer year round driving ability.

The model is a run flat tire. It means that the tire supports the weight of the vehicle and the passengers for 50 miles up to the speed of 50 mph after the loss of air pressure. This ensures that the driver safely arrives to a destination where they are able to change or repair the damaged tire. These tires are usually manufactured for vehicles that have no space for spare tires. Run flat tires cannot be mixed with regular tires, as their construction is heavier. The tire was manufactured with the CTT or Combined Tire Technology, which mixes car and motorcycle tire development and manufacturing methods to improve the driving experience and boost the tire's run flat ability.
