OVERVIEW

The Dunlop SP Sport 5000M (OE) is a high performance all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. This model is the original equipment tire of select vehicles.

This model has superb all weather traction which was achieved with its asymmetrical tread pattern. The tire grips the road well in dry, wet and even in winter conditions. The wet traction is further enhanced with tire tire's excellent hydroplaning resistance, as the independent tread blocks and open shoulder grooves disperse water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The tire's great all weather traction also allows the tire to balance its wet and dry weather performing capability.

The tire's remarkable high speed performance is largely owed to Dunlop's Jointless Band Technology, which reinforces the tire so it maintains its optimal shape. As a result, the tire does not deform under the driving pressure, increasing its stability and making its handling effortless. The tire's handling is further improved by the exceptional steering responsiveness of the tire. The high performance tread design boosts the tire's wet and dry traction, and this better road grip allows the steering responsiveness to be more accurate and swift.
