OVERVIEW

The Falken RI119 Ecorun is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the trailer axle.

The tire upgrades the tread life length. The optimal tread design and the stronger compound enhance the model's usability. The symmetric ribbed tread design with the decoupling grooves enables the model to evenly distribute the driving pressure affecting the tire. The equally spread out pressure distributes the forces of acceleration, cornering and braking and avoids irregular wear across the tread area. The stronger compound maintains the ideal rubber flexibility with the stronger rubber elements. The tread design upgrades the model's usability and service life.

The tread design and the all season compound increase the all weather traction. They work together to boost the tire's grip on the road surface in various weather conditions, with additional biting edges and the compound's maintained rubber flexibility. The better year round traction eases the driving pressure off the tire, which minimizes the rolling resistance in various temperatures. The rolling resistance is the pressure affecting the tire, which determines the vehicle's needed fuel intake. As the tire decreases the rolling resistance, it optimizes the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emission levels. This combination decreases the vehicle's fuel efficiency throughout the drive.

The RI119 Ecorun boosts the load durability. The tire's strengthened internal structure manages to keep the ideal tire shape under the load and driving pressure affecting the model. The stronger construction does not allow the tire to deform under the load and driving pressure, which enhances the load capacity significantly. This results in a safer and stronger load durability, which ensures the tire's secure performing capability.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
