OVERVIEW

The Falken RI150 Ecorun is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's all axle positions.

The tire's tread design and excellent traction enables it to be mounted on all axle positions. This boosts the model's controllability. The symmetric ribbed tread pattern, with the solid closed shoulder ribs, the Smart Shape Case technology and the 3D wavy groove pattern enhance the tire's road contact. The SSC technology optimizes the tire shape which minimizes the difference between the tire's loaded and unloaded state, maintaining an even road contact patch at all times. The optimal contact patch and the ribbed tread design boost the steering responsiveness and accuracy to the driver's commands. The 3D grooves ensure even pressure distribution which stabilizes the structure and improves the driving stability. The better overall control makes the tire easier to maneuver in all conditions.

The model was manufactured with a lengthened tread life. The tire's tread ensures equal pressure distribution with the uniform carbon dispersion system and the 4D Nano technology. The carbon circulation controls the spreading out of the carbon molecules in the compound, while the 4D Nano enhances the tire's design with the computer-stimulated performance pattern. They guarantee the equal circulation of the forces of acceleration, cornering and braking along the tread area. In this manner, the tire actively prevents the formation of irregular wear on the tread area, which extends the tread life and the tire's usability significantly.

The RI150 Ecorun offers a fuel efficient performance. The uniform carbon dispersion system and the 4D Nano technology combines ease the driving pressure off the tires, with the even pressure distribution, to lower the tire's rolling resistance. The rolling resistance is the external driving pressure affecting the tire, which determines the amount of energy the vehicle needs to keep the tires in motion. As a result, the tire decreases the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions while the tires are in motion, promoting a fuel efficient and environmentally friendly driving experience.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
