OVERVIEW

The Falken RI151 is a highway terrain all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on all axle positions.

The tire promotes great all weather traction. The ribbed tread design enhances the tire's road contact in dry, wet and winter weather, boosting the tire's performance. The wide circumferential grooves also manage to increase the hydroplaning resistance by dispersing water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The combination of the tread design and the hydroplaning resistance work together to ensure a safer year round performance.

The wide shoulder tread area improves the road gripping ability. This tread design upgrades the tire's road grip in all weather, making its controllability effortless. The tread design increases the steering responsiveness and driving stability, in other words, the steering is faster and more precise, while the tire's structure is stabilized. The shoulder tread blocks increase the number of biting edges that ensure a secure cornering and maneuvering capability. The result is a secure driving experience in all conditions.

The tire features an optimized footprint. This footprint maintains constant road contact at all times, which enhances the length of the tread life. The constant road contact manages to evenly distribute the driving pressure across the tread area to actively resist irregular tread wear formations and ensures a longer lasting tread life and usability. The extended tire usability enables the tire to be more cost efficient.

The RI151 keeps a clean footprint. The special stone defense features eject rocks stuck between the tread elements. These rocks can cause harm to the casing and the tread area and by ejecting them, the tire prevents such problems. The result is a safer driving experience.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
