OVERVIEW

The Federal Super Steel 657 is a touring, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.

The tire provides first-rate all weather traction. The all season compound and the special tread pattern work together to increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. They maintain road contact in all conditions to ensure a safer driving experience year round. The safety is further increased by the hydroplaning resistance of the wide circumferential grooves that effectively disperse water and slush from beneath the tire's footprint.

The special optimized tread design creates a variable pattern that guarantees a comfortable drive. The variable tread blocks decrease the road noise heard while the tires are in motion by constantly creating a special sound frequency. The sound frequency cancels the road noise out the moment it's generated, preventing the sound from reaching the vehicle's cabin. This results in a quiet and enjoyable driving experience as the passengers' comfort is not disturbed by the pattern noise.

The constant road contact of the shoulder tread block sequences increases the tire's controllability. The tire's excellent road contact improves the driving stability and the steering responsiveness greatly. The tire is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it, while the steering becomes quick and precise in its response to the driver's commands.
