The Firestone Firehawk GT is a performance all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. Firestone offers a 50,000 mile treadwear warranty with the H and V speed rated tire sizes of this tire model.

The tire promotes exceptional all weather traction. The first-rate dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability is achieved with the silica-based tire compound and the asymmetric dual pattern tread design. The silica in the compound keeps the tread flexible in different weather conditions, while the all season asymmetric tread design incorporates different tread elements to ensure excellent dry, wet and winter weather traction. The tread's wide circumferential and lateral grooves actively resist hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from below the tire's footprint. The enhances traction and hydroplaning prevention ensure a safer year round driving experience.

The model's controllability is also updated. The continuous center rib of the wider tire footprint ensures constant road contact. The better road contact enhances the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The steering becomes quick and precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the tire's structure is stabilized against the driving pressure affecting it.
