OVERVIEW

The Firestone FS560 Plus is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's steer axles mainly, but it can be used on all axle positions.

The model promotes a longer lasting tread life. The tread pattern upgrades the tread life by ensuring an even wear rate across the tread area. The ribbed tread design's flat footprint manages to equally spread out the forces of acceleration, cornering and braking across the tread area. This prevents uneven tread wear formations, lengthening the tread life and upgrading the tire's usability. The durable tire compound, on the other hand, significantly decreases the tread wear rate and extends the tire's service life. This combination ensures the tire's long-lasting life.

The tire features a reinforced internal structure. The stronger internal construction features full length steel belts that maintain the tire's ideal shape. The optimal tire shape prevents the shape's deformation under the load and driving pressure affecting it. The load handling and withstanding capability is further improved with the flat footprint's even pressure distribution. In this manner, the tire guarantees a heavy load carrying ability and capacity.

The FS560 Plus offers a secure all weather traction. The special symmetric ribbed pattern's stress relief sipes, maintained road contact and flow-through grooves work together to increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping capability. They firmly grip the road surface and ensure its utmost performing ability. The flow-through grooves also improve the hydroplaning resistance. They disperse water and slush from below the footprint and increase the wet and winter weather road gripping ability.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
