The Firestone Transforce CV is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on delivery trucks, vans and other multi-purpose vehicles with high load durability.

The tire promotes great all weather traction. The symmetric ribbed pattern, with the high siping density, and the all season compound increase the dry, wet and winter weather traction. The symmetric tread's siping pattern heightens the number of biting edges gripping the road surface, especially when driving on ice- and snow-covered road surfaces, while the ribbed tread elements maintain the tire's road contact for a safer year round performance. The compound keeps its rubber flexibility in different weather conditions, which allows the tire to keep a constant grip on the road surface. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning. They eliminate water and slush from below the tire's footprint, significantly boosting the wet and winter traction and performance.

The tread pattern improves the tire's year round controllability. The symmetric ribbed tread design closely follows the road surface and maintains the tire's contact with it at all times. In this manner, the tread enhances the steering responsiveness and the driving stability.
