OVERVIEW

The Galaxy AC271-G is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was created for all axle positions.

The tire manages to promote exceptional traction. The symmetric ribbed footprint, with the zigzag elements, allows the tire to optimize surface grip on various terrain conditions. In other words, the tire is able to safely conquer on-road and different terrain surfaces by providing the necessary traction. The zigzag circumferential grooves keep the footprint clean by eliminating mud and snow stuck between the tread elements. This further enhances the tire's exceptional performance.

The optimal tread design and durable compound ensure a longer-lasting tread life. The stabilized footprint evenly circulates the driving pressure across the tread area, avoiding premature and irregular wear formations. Accelerated wear is usually prominent on the tire's shoulder area, however, this model is able to avoid such problems as well. The stronger compound is damage resistant. It protects the tire from cuts and tread chipping. The self-cleaning nature of the footprint prevents stone retention, protecting the casing from damage.

The AC271-G also enhances its load durability. The reinforced internal structure maintains the ideal tire shape under versatile driving and load pressures. As a result, the tire can securely carry and handle heavy loads with ease. This allows the tire to safely perform during its heavy-duty applications.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
