OVERVIEW

The Galaxy DR271-G is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was created for the vehicle's drive axle.

The model promotes great all season traction. The block placement, with the zigzag sipes, and all season compound work together in order to enhance its dry, wet, and winter weather performance. Durable compound elements enable the tire to significantly boost its rubber flexibility, keeping the tire pliable throughout the year. The sipes provide additional biting edges, boosting its year-round drive. Zigzag circumferential grooves and open shoulder pattern avoid hydroplaning in wet conditions, by dispersing water and slush from the footprint.

The reinforced construction was designed for the tire's heavy-duty applications. The strengthened carcass does not allow the tire to deform under load and driving pressure. In this manner, the tire is able to significantly upgrade the tire's load capacity. The model offers exceptional load-carrying power, offering safer durability.

The DR271-G offers a longer tread life. The stabilized tread design's even pressure circulation across the tread area prevents irregular wear formations. This is ensured as pressure accumulation is avoided, especially on the tread's sensitive areas. Stronger compound elements also decrease treadwear rate as well, which resists premature wear. This combination offers a lengthened service life.

As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
