OVERVIEW

The General HD 2 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model is made to be mounted on drive axles.

The tire offers great year-round traction. This tread pattern and all season compound promote excellent dry, wet, and winter traction. The ribbed tread design strongly grips the road surface with extra biting edges, maintaining road contact all the time. On the other hand, the all season compound keeps the rubber flexible in versatile temperatures. At the same time, wide circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water and slush from the footprint. These elements guarantee the tire's safe driving experience throughout the year.

The rubber compound and the optimal tread design offer great fuel efficiency. They ease the pressure off the tire and lower the rolling resistance in the process. The rolling resistance is the pressure affecting the tire, which determines the vehicle's fuel consumption needed in order to keep the tires in motion. By reducing the rolling resistance, the tire is able to decrease the vehicle's fuel intake and CO2 emissions levels. As a result, the tire guarantees a fuel-efficient and environmentally friendly driving experience.

The ribber tread pattern maintains the road contact for better steering responsiveness and driving stability.
