OVERVIEW

The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 ROF (*) is a high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. This is an original equipment tire of select BMW vehicle models.

This tire is manufactured with the Run on Flat technology. Its reinforced structure and tire compound allow the tire to bear the weight of the vehicle and the passengers for 50 miles at a maximum speed of 50 mph after the loss of air pressure. This temporary, limited mobility ensures that the driver can safely get somewhere to repair or replace the damaged tire.

This model has excellent dry and wet weather traction and, with the Grip Boost Compound Technology, Goodyear enhanced its performing ability and road grip even more. It is not recommended to use this model in winter conditions or in lower temperatures and it should be stored for the season. The tire's asymmetric tread pattern also improves its braking ability.

The Active Braking Technology increases the tire's road contact surface and grip and shortens its braking distance. This boosts the tire's safety and ride quality and improves its stability. The tread pattern's central rib and Goodyear's Construction Technology makes handling easier and increases the steering precision and cornering ability. All of these enhancements contribute to the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 ROF (*)'s heightened high speed performance ability.

The improved traction of the tire takes the driving pressure off the tire's tread area. This reduced pressure helps slow the wear rate of the tread while the equally distributed driving force ensures even wear across the tire.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
