The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 SCT (T0) is a high performance summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.

This model is noted with the T0 marking, which means the tire is an original equipment model for Tesla's vehicles. The tire ensures that the vehicle is capable of performing to its utmost capability. The tire went through rigorous tests to be approved for use on Tesla's products, which ensures that this model is safe to use, has excellent quality and great performing ability.

The tire offers great summer weather traction thanks to the grip boost tire compound and the asymmetrical tread pattern. The tread grooves resist hydroplaning by eliminating water from below the tire footprint. This improves the tire's wet weather traction and the summer weather safety. The tire, however, will not perform well, and is even dangerous to use, in winter weather, as in colder temperatures the tire compound loses its traction.

The SoundComfort Technology, SCT for short, was used to manufacture this model. It reduces the road and pattern noise heard in the cabin of the vehicle as the sound-absorbing foam located on the inside of the tread pattern filters them out and cancels all noise generated while the tires are in motion. This offers a comfortable and quiet driving experience.

The tire's optimized footprint improves the steering responsiveness and the braking ability. Friction is created at the moment of braking which enhances the braking ability and shortens the braking distance. The better footprint also upgrades the precision and responsiveness of the steering. The steering and ability makes the tire more responsive to the driver's instructions and makes it easier to control in both dry and wet weather, increasing the driving safety.

The internal construction of the Eagle F1 Asymmetric 3 SCT (T0) enables the tire to perform to its highest capability. It maintains the tire's optimal shape and does not let it deform under the driving pressure. This improves the safety of the high speed driving experience.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
