OVERVIEW

The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric All-Season (OE) is a high performance all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles. This is an original equipment tire of select vehicle models.

The tire has exceptional all weather traction and it grips the road well in dry, wet and winter weather. This is made possible with the dual-zone tread design that splits the tread up into two sections: one dry weather zone and one wet and winter weather zone. These zones increase the tire's traction in their intended conditions. The tread grooves increase the hydroplaning resistance by eliminating water from below the tire footprint. The water dispersal and the TredLock technology with the microgrooves increase the wet weather traction and road grip of the model, making year round driving even safer.

The asymmetrical tread pattern improves the cornering ability and the steering responsiveness. The shoulder tread block sequence provides additional biting edges during cornering, which enhances the cornering and maneuvering ability and power. The asymmetric tread's constant road contact enables a racing-like steering responsiveness and accuracy. The tire is quick and precise in its response to the driver's instructions. This allows the driver to confidently and safely control the tire in all weather.

The Eagle F1 Asymmetric All-Season (OE)'s internal twin steel belt construction reinforced with spirally wrapped nylon upgrades the high speed durability. The tire maintains its shape under the high speed driving pressure, and since it does not deform the tire can perform to its highest capability.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
