The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric ROF is a high performance, summer tire manufactured for SUVs.

The tire offers excellent summer weather traction. The durable compound and the asymmetric tread design enhance the dry and wet weather road gripping ability. The compound resists heat build-up on the tread area during its summer weather performance. The tire footprint's constant road contact also boosts the grip with extra biting edges. The asymmetric tread design and the inner tread zone help prevent hydroplaning, by dispersing water from below the tire's surface.

The tire has excellent high speed performing capability. The Active CornerGrip Technology and the asymmetric tread design work together to increase the high speed performance. The special exterior tread zone brings impressive road grip, by helping the constant contact between the tire footprint and the road. The cutting edge compound and the Active CronerGrip Technology work together to keep the road contact which increases steering responsiveness and driving stability. Additionally, this technology offers better control during maneuvering, which enhances corner capability.

The Eagle F1 Asymmetric ROF was made with the Run On Flat Technology. This technology has rim protector guards against damages caused by outside influence. It also strengthens the tire's structure for it to be able to withstand the weight of the vehicle in case of air pressure loss. After the air pressure leaves the tire, it can be driven on for 50 miles up to the speed 50 mph. This enables the tire to be driven on to a nearby location, where the damage can be fixed. These tires cannot be mounted on the same vehicle with regular tires.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
