The Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric SUV-4X4 (OE) is a high performance summer tire manufactured for SUVs. This model is the original equipment tire for select vehicles.

The tire offers excellent summer weather traction. The tread design and the tire compound work together to ensures first-rate dry and wet weather road grip. The compound features silica to increase the wet weather traction, carbon black to boost the dry road grip and polymers to ensure tread stiffness. The asymmetric tread design also features a smoother dry tread zone and a wet tread zone that enhances the wet weather traction. The wet weather traction is further enhanced with the excellent hydroplaning resistance, which is achieved with the water dispersing ability of the wide circumferential grooves. The model, however, it not meant to be used in winter weather as the compound and the tread design to not maintain the exceptional grip in colder temperatures.

The model is also easily controlled. The tread pattern enhances its controllability with the better maintained road contact. The solid center rib increases the steering responsiveness and the driving stability with the constant road contact.
