OVERVIEW

The Goodyear Endurance RSA ULT is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vans.

They are RETREAD tires. This means that a recycled tire casing went through the remolding process and has received a new life cycle. Retread tires are the closest to new tires among RETREADED models. However, the tire is still not a new tire. They do not just get a new tread area glued onto them, they receive a new sidewall and tread area, which is then cured and shaped into the desired tread pattern. These tires are DOT approved and they are guaranteed to last and to perform as well as new tires do. These tires are safer than regular retreaded models and perform as safely and successfully as new tires do. In this manner, the brand recycles old tires and contributes to lowering the carbon footprint to help save the environment.

The tire promotes excellent all weather traction. The tread design and the all season compound improve the grip on the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather. The tread design’s symmetric ribbed pattern upgrades the number of biting edges gripping the road surface with the siping pattern and the zigzag grooves. The all season compound keeps the rubber flexibility in versatile conditions to optimize the traction. The tread’s zigzag circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from the footprint to further improve the wet and slippery performance.

The tread design and all season compound lengthen the tread life and the usability. The tread design’s symmetric ribbed pattern closely follows the road surface and ensures even pressure distribution. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking actively prevents irregular wear formations across the tread area. The durable compound slows the tread wear rate down with the wear-resistant rubber materials, enabling the tire’s extended service life.

The Endurance RSA ULT upgrades the load durability. The stronger construction and shoulder tread area are utilized to achieve this. The steel belt internal structure boosts the load carrying and withstanding ability and power, without allowing the tire’s shape from deforming under the pressure. The shoulder pattern helps even pressure distribution along the tread area, easing the pressure off the tire and offering a higher load capacity and a secure driving experience.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
