OVERVIEW

The Goodyear Fuel Max RTD is a highway terrain, all season tire created for commercial trucks. This model is specially designed for the vehicle's drive axle.

The tire is specially designed with heavy-duty conditions in mind. It comes with strong structural materials that enable it to carry and withstand huge loads. The siped tread blocks form a wide and flat footprint that evenly distributes load and driving pressure. This way, it prevents pressure accumulation, ensuring that the tire won't lose its optimal shape. These features improve the tire's ability to perform under heavy loads, making it an excellent choice for commercial trucks.

With the elevated shoulders and the three center ribs, the tire is always in good balance. This makes irregular wear formations highly unlikely. By keeping load and driving pressure even, tread wear is also significantly slowed down. The blocks are arranged with an optimal void ratio to maximize the model's self-cleaning ability. The tread pattern prevents stone retention, eliminating rocks that would otherwise get stuck in-between the tread elements and drill into the footprint. The tread and sturdy compound greatly extend the tire's tread life.

The premium all season compound adapts to changing weather conditions, enhancing the tire's ability to maintain a strong grip. It keeps the tread elements flexible whether it's steaming hot or freezing cold outside. Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
