The Goodyear Marathon RTD is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model is made for drive axle positions.

The special tread design and the all season compound enhance the year-round traction. The tire is able to boost the grip on the road surface, with extra biting edges. The all season compound elements keep the rubber flexible in various temperatures, while the open-shoulder tread pattern offers a consistent road contact. Thanks to this tread design and stronger compound, this model is perfect for all season performance.

The strongly enhanced casing and the reinforced internal structure optimize the tire shape under load and driving pressure. In this manner, the tire can increase its load carrying and withstanding ability. As the tire does not deform under pressure, its ability to handle large loads makes the tire excellent for heavy-duty applications. The enhanced casing, strong construction, and durable compound help this tire to safely handle and protect the tire under load and driving pressure. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
