The Goodyear WinterCommand Ultra is a touring, winter tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs.

The tire promotes excellent winter weather traction. Versatile winter technologies were used during the manufacturing process. The Cryo-Adaptive compound is engineered to keep the rubber flexible even in freezing temperatures, ensuring the tire's pliability. The V-Tred technology with the ActiveGrip and Adaptive SipeGrip technologies provide the necessary number of biting edges to guarantee safer ice and snow traction. This combination makes sure the tire can easily conquer harsh winter conditions, even without the use of studs. Additionally, the special hydro-dynamic grooves channel water and slush from the footprint, resisting aquaplaning in the process.

Using its directional tread design, the tire is able to greatly improve its controllability. The stability of the footprint is ensured with the V-Tred technology. This, along with the ActiveGrip pattern, enables the tire's consistent surface contact throughout the performance. As a result, the tire's steering responsiveness and driving stability are significantly boosted. The details of the shoulder area provide additional biting edges during cornering and maneuvering.
