The GT Radial Champiro SX2 is a high performance summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.

The model ensured first-rate summer weather traction. The special silica-based tire compound and the asymmetric tread design work together to increase the dry and wet weather road grip. The compound keeps its rubber flexibility under the high-heat pressure of the summer months, while the optimized tread design with the wide ribs and notch placement improves the tire's grip on the road surface. The wide circumferential grooves avoid hydroplaning. They disperse water and slush from below the tire's footprint and boost the wet weather performance.

The asymmetric tread design's elements upgrade the cornering and braking capability, which ensures a safer driving experience. The dual shoulder tread block design widens the shoulder tread area which enhances the cornering and maneuvering capability. The dual block pattern with the notches heightens the number of biting edges gripping the road surface during cornering, enabling a more powerful maneuvering capability. The larger center rib's optimal road contact manages to shorten the braking distance. It's contact with the road surface creates friction at the moment of braking, significantly shortening the braking distance and offering a secure performing ability.

The Champiro SX2 promotes great high speed controllability. The wider center rib closely follows the road surface, which increases the steering responsiveness and driving stability. As a result, the model offers a faster and more precise steering response to the driver's commands, while the tire's structure is stabilized against the high speed driving pressure affecting it.
