OVERVIEW

The Haida HD927 is a performance and high performance, summer tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.

The tire has excellent summer weather traction and the asymmetric tread pattern design grips the road well in dry and wet weather conditions. The tire’s tread compound is, however, not suited for winter weather as it loses its great traction in the colder winter temperatures. The tread design’s four wide circumferential grooves and the inner tread’s lateral grooves disperse water and prevent hydroplaning by eliminating water from beneath the tire footprint. The better water dispersing ability and the tire’s superb summer weather traction make the tire safe to use in all warmer weather conditions.

The tread pattern enhances the cornering and braking abilities. The outer tire shoulder’s tread block design provides additional biting edges during cornering situations. They grip the road well and the tread sequence prevents the tread design from deforming. The maintained road contact and stabilized tread pattern improve the cornering power and capability. The tire’s inner sequential rib and four wide circumferential grooves shorten the braking distance significantly. They create friction at the moment of braking, which spreads out across the tire to shorten and improve the braking distance and ability.

The lightweight tire compound reduces the overall tire weight and with it the rolling resistance. the rolling resistance controls how much energy the vehicle needs to maintain the tire’s motion. The lower rolling resistance decreases the vehicle’s fuel usage and CO2 emissions, which make the tire more cost and fuel efficient and environmentally friendly at the same time.
