The Hankook Optimo ME02 is a performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles.

The tire promotes great all weather traction. The symmetric tread design, with the detailed siping and groove pattern, and the all season compound manage to enhance the dry, wet and winter weather performing capability. The tread elements increase the number of biting edges firmly gripping the road surface in such conditions, while the compound keeps its flexibility in various temperatures. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning. They channel water and slush away from the footprint and enhance the tire's wet and winter traction to guarantee a safer performing capability.

The model's controllability is improved with its optimal tread design and stronger internal structure. The symmetric tread design's constant road contact and the reinforced construction's ideal tire shape work together to increase the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. The tread's better road contact enables the tire to increase the steering response time and accuracy, while the high stiffness bead filler and the reinforced belt cord stabilize the construction against the driving pressure affecting it. The structure's dual jointless cover manages to stabilize the tread elements during the tire's braking.
