The Hercules Raptis R-T5 is a high performance, all season tire manufactured for passenger vehicles and SUVs. Hercules offers a 45,000 mile treadwear warranty with this model.

The tire upgrades the all weather traction. The all season compound and the asymmetric tread pattern increase the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping ability. The compound keeps the rubber flexible in various temperatures, while the CoolCourse system prevents heat build-up along the tread area. The tread's 3D UltraWave siping placement improves the surface grip with extra biting edges while the tires are in motion. The tire's special EvacuWave groove pattern helps resist hydroplaning. These grooves work together with the circumferential grooves in order to channel water and slush from the footprint, significantly enhancing the wet weather driving safety levels.

The model boosts its controllability and maneuvering ability. The asymmetric tread design's surface contact and the 3D siping placement's stronger grip on the road increase the steering responsiveness and the driving stability. In this manner, the steering becomes faster and more precise in its response to the driver's commands, while the structure is stabilized against the driver's commands.
