OVERVIEW

The Hercules Strong Guard H-DC is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This model was designed for drive axles.

The tire offers great all season traction. The durable Gen-H compound works with the optimal tread elements, allowing the tire to upgrade its dry, wet, and winter-weather traction. These tread elements utilize their stability and ideal sipe placement to generate additional biting edges while the tires are in motion. The stronger rubber materials of the Gen-H compound keep the tire pliable throughout the year, optimizing its summer and winter weather performance. Circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning in wet conditions, by dispersing water and slush from the footprint.

Excellent surface contact helps to improve the tire's overall load durability. The strengthened construction maintains the optimal tire shape under load and driving pressure. As the tire does not deform, it optimizes its road contact, enabling even pressure circulation. In this manner, the tire helps to upgrade its load capacity throughout the performance.

The Strong Guard H-DC offers great service life. The optimized tread elements and the durable compound work together in order to increase its usability. Even pressure circulation effectively combats irregular wear along the tread area, avoiding pressure accumulation on sensitive tread areas. On the other hand, the compound utilizes wear-resistant elements to decrease the treadwear rate. The self-cleaning nature of the tread avoids tread and casing damage, by keeping the footprint clean of rocks.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
