OVERVIEW

The Ironhead IDL290-FS is a highway terrain, all season tire made for commercial vehicles. This model is made to be mounted on drive axles.

The all season compound and the ribbed tread pattern improve all weather traction. This ribbed tread design can closely follow the road surface during the performance. At the same time, the all season compound keeps the rubber flexible in warm and cold temperatures. This tread design and all season compound enhance the road grip in dry, wet, and winter conditions. On the other hand, large circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning, by eliminating water and slush from the footprint.

The optimal tread design also increases controllability. The optimal tread pattern and its close road contact enhance steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering response time is quicker and more precise to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. The outer ribs firmly grip the road surface, with extra biting edges, and boost the cornering and maneuvering ability. As a result, this ribbed tread pattern guarantees the driver full control over the vehicle all the time.

The model guarantees a fuel-efficient performance. The special rubber compound eases the driving pressure off the footprint, which offers better fuel economy.
