OVERVIEW

The Ironhead IDM321 is a highway terrain, all season tire made for commercial vehicles. This model is built to be mounted on drive axle positions.

The tire promotes great all weather traction. The tread design and the all season compound boost dry, wet, and winter-weather grip on the road surface. The tread’s siping and notch placement firmly grips the road surface with extra biting edges, while the compound keeps the rubber flexible in versatile temperatures. The groove pattern helps to prevent hydroplaning, by eliminating water and slush from the footprint. This significantly upgrades the model’s wet-weather driving safety levels.

The tire’s tread area and compound blend boost its usability. The ideal tread pattern and the wear-resistant compound prevent irregular and premature wear formations. In this manner, the optimized tread pattern evenly distributes driving pressure along the tread area, while the special silica compound slows down the treadwear rate. This decreased and even wear leads to longer-lasting tread life.

The Ironhead IDM321’s robust structure and the rubber compound increase its heavy-duty performance. The tire’s reinforced internal structure keeps the ideal tire shape under load and driving pressure. It enables the tire to safely carry and withstand heavy loads, which effectively upgrades its load capacity. In other words, the tire can securely perform during its heavy-duty applications.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
