OVERVIEW

The Ironhead IDR311 is a highway terrain, all season tire made for commercial vehicles. This model is made to be mounted on drive axles.

Great all season performance is promoted with this tread design and all season compound. The optimal tread pattern maintains road contact all the time, while the compound is kept flexible in summer and winter temperatures. As a result, this tread design and all season compound improve dry, wet, and winter traction. This model offers a safe year-round performance. On the other hand, wide grooves eliminate water and slush from the footprint and prevent hydroplaning.

The ribbed tread pattern, with the tread elements, strongly grips the road surface and boosts controllability. This tread design and consistent road contact improve steering responsiveness and driving stability. The steering response time is faster and more precise to the driver's commands, while the structure is secured against the driving pressure affecting it. At the same time, the wider outer ribs and their strong grip upgrade cornering and maneuvering. This tread design and its close road contact guarantee the driver full control over the vehicle at all times.

The reinforced internal structure and durable rubber compound maintain the optimal tire shape under load and driving pressure. This construction does not allow the tire to deform under the pressure affecting it. As a result, the tire is able to carry and withstand heavy loads with ease. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
