OVERVIEW

The JK Tyre Jetsteel JDC5 is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. This tire was designed for drive axle applications.

The tire improves its load and driving durability. The tire is capable of handling larger loads with ease. The construction of the tire maintains the optimal tire shape under such pressure, which helps the tire increase its load capacity. In other words, the tire is able to withstand load pressure, boosting the overall load durability.

Excellent year-round traction is provided with this tire. The ideal tread pattern and the all season compound enhance the tire’s dry, wet, and winter-weather grip. In this manner, the optimized tread design closely follows the road at all times, while the all season compound keeps the rubber flexible in changing temperatures. Circumferntial grooves effectively eliminate water and slush from the footprint, in order to resist hydroplaning.

Extended service life is guaranteed with the Jetsteel JDC5. The ideal tread pattern and the rubber compound resist irregular and premature wear formations along the tread area. This tread ensures even pressure circulation, in order to prevent irregular wear formations, while the rubber compound slows the treadwear rate down. This decreased and even wear leads to the tire’s longer-lasting tread life.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
