The better road contact and the notch placement enhance the grip on the road surface with extra biting edges, upgrading the grip on the road surface. The circumferential grooves prevent hydroplaning by dispersing water and slush from the footprint, resulting in a safer wet weather performance.

The asymmetric tread design's surface contact allows the tire to improve the controllability.
