OVERVIEW

The Kelly ArmorSteel KDA is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's drive axle.

The tire offers a secure year round performance. The symmetric tread pattern, with the optimal ribbed design, and the all season tire compound enhance the dry, wet and winter weather road gripping capability. The tread pattern firmly grips the road surface throughout the year, which increases the model's performance year round. The durable compound upgrades the rubber flexibility and actively prevents weather damage. The tread's zigzag circumferential groove pattern ensures an increased water and slush distributing capability, which helps avoid hydroplaning. As a result, the tire provides a secure performing ability.

The model's tread elements work together to improve the tread life. The unique shoulder rib pattern, the flat footprint and the siping detail improve the tire's contact with the road surface, which allows the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally spread out forces of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids the formations of irregular tread wear on the tire's surface which significantly extends the tread life and the tire's usability. The longer lasting even tread wear ensures an increased service life.

The ArmorSteel KDA features a self-cleaning tread pattern. The tread's zigzag grooves and staggered tread blocks boost the tire's self-cleaning capability. They eject rocks stuck between the tread elements to prevent stone retention from drilling them into the casing and harming the tire in the process. The clean footprint ensures a safer and long lasting damage free driving experience.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
