OVERVIEW

The Knight KD1 is a highway terrain, all season tire made for commercial vehicles. This model is designed to be mounted on drive axle positions.

The ribbed tread design and the all season compound improve the tire's performance throughout the year. In this manner, the all season compound keeps the rubber flexible in changing temperatures, from warm summer to cold winter temperatures. At the same time, the optimized tread elements closely follow the road surface in dry, wet, and winter temperatures. These elements upgrade the tire's year-round performance. On the other hand, circumferential grooves effectively eliminate water and slush from the footprint. These grooves prevent hydroplaning and guarantee the tire's safe performance, even in wet situations.

The model upgrades its controllability. The ribbed tread pattern maintains close contact with the road surface. This increases the tire's steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the steering response time becomes faster and more precise to the driver's instructions, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. This combination enables the driver to have full control over the vehicle, for a safer driving experience.

The Knight KD1 promotes excellent load and driving durability. The reinforced internal structure and the special silica compound keep the ideal tire shape under load and driving pressure. They do not allow the tire to deform under heavy loads. This significantly increases the tire's carrying and withstanding ability. As a result, the tire offers perfect load-carrying capacity and handling power, making this model a great choice for commercial vehicles.

There might be discrepancies of sizes between brands and models of tires which have this size formatting. As the manufacturers only provide the tire width and the rim diameter with these tires, various brands and models will have size differences. In order to ensure the correct size is purchased, the overall tire diameter that is needed should be checked.

The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
