OVERVIEW

The Knight KS1 is a highway terrain, all season tire made for commercial vehicles. This model is designed to be mounted on steer axle positions.

The ideal tread design manages to improve the tire’s controllability. The closer and better road contact upgrades steering responsiveness and driving stability. In other words, the tire is quicker and more precise in its response to the driver’s commands, while the structure is secured against driving pressure. Furthermore, the shoulder tread blocks provide additional biting edges to grip the road. This allows the tire to enhance cornering and maneuvering, ensuring safer handling as the tire guarantees a secure performance.

Great load and driving durability are ensured with the tire’s reinforced internal structure. The reinforced internal structure and the special silica compound enhance the tire’s load-handling power, by evenly distributing load and driving pressure across the tread area. As the tire does not deform under load and driving pressure, it allows the tire to carry and withstand heavy loads with ease.

The Knight KS1 provides great all season traction. The ideal tread pattern and the all season compound enhance the tire’s dry, wet, and winter-weather grip. In this manner, the optimized tread design closely follows the road at all times, while the all season compound keeps the rubber flexible in changing temperatures. Circumferntial grooves effectively eliminate water and slush from the footprint, in order to resist hydroplaning.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
