OVERVIEW

The Kpatos FM523 M/T is a mud terrain, all season tire manufactured for light trucks.

The tire ensures excellent all weather traction. The large tread elements' symmetric pattern and the durable all season compound increase the dry, wet and winter weather traction. On off-road terrain surfaces, the tire is capable of performing throughout the year. The compound keeps its rubber flexibility from the heat of summer to the colder temperatures of winter, while the tread elements, with their slight siping detail, maintain a consistent grip year round. The wide grooves and open shoulders eliminate snow stuck in the grooves to further boost the all weather performance.

The model's optimal tread design upgrades the off-road traction. The large, staggered tread blocks, high void ratio, open shoulder design and upper sidewall pattern work together to boost the soft and loose terrain gripping capability. They improve the tire's grip on all off-road surfaces to guarantee a safer performance. The upper sidewall tread design promotes the tire's forward motion in deep mud and loose dirt, preventing it from being stuck on such terrains. The tread elements keep the footprint clean of mud by dispersing it from between the elements. This pattern also prevents stone retention from harming the tire's casing by ejecting rocks from the footprint. The combined traction and constantly clean footprint provide a safer off-road driving experience.

The FM523 M/T is easily controlled. The optimally placed tread block sequence on the tire's shoulders and center area improve the steering responsiveness and driving stability. The better contact increases the steering response time and accuracy to the driver's commands, while it stabilizes the structure against the driving pressure affecting the model. The intended purpose of Mud Terrain tire types is off-road use. They are not designed for regular highway driving.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
