OVERVIEW

The Kumho KLT12e is a highway terrain, all season tire manufactured for commercial vehicles. It was made to be mounted on the vehicle's trailer axle.

The tire offers a longer lasting usability. The special symmetric ribbed tread design and the durable compound work together to elongate the tread life. The wear-resistant compound boosts the length of the tread life by preventing premature tread wear by slowing the wear rate down. The symmetric tread's decoupling grooves and optimized road contact enable the tire to evenly distribute the driving pressure along the tread area. The equally distributed force of acceleration, cornering and braking avoids irregular tread wear formations across the tread area. The result is a lengthened service life and higher mileage.

The model ensures a fuel efficient performance. The symmetric ribbed tread design decreases the model's rolling resistance by maintaining an optimal road surface contact. The better road contact allows the tire to decrease the rolling resistance, which in turn lowers the vehicle's fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The rolling resistance is the driving pressure affecting the model which determines the amount of energy needed to maintain the vehicle in motion. In this manner, the reduced rolling resistance manages to decrease the fuel consumption significantly, offering a fuel efficient and environmentally friendly performance.

The KLT12e guarantees an all weather performance. The symmetric ribbed pattern's detailed groove and siping placement enhances the tire's grip on the road surface in dry, wet and winter weather.
