OVERVIEW

The Kumho KRD03 is a highway terrain, all season tire made for commercial vehicles. This model is designed to be mounted on drive axle positions.

The all season performance is ensured with the ideal tread design and the all season compound. Year-round traction and hydroplaning resistance are offered with this model. Durable rubber materials keep the tire pliable in changing temperatures, by using weather-resistant rubber. On the other hand, the ideal tread pattern generates biting edges that firmly grip the road surface with extra biting edges. Hydroplaning is avoided thanks to the groove pattern. These grooves prevent water and slush from cutting off the tire’s road contact in wet conditions.

The tire’s tread area and compound blend boost its usability. The optimal tread design evenly distributes driving pressure along the tread area. The special silica compound decreases the treadwear rate significantly. This slow and even wear offers a longer-lasting tread life. In other words, these elements resist irregular and premature wear formations, which enables the tire to perform for a longer period of time.

The Kumho KRD03 improves its load and driving durability. This model can carry and withstand heavy loads without deformation in the process. The Overall Diameter or O.D. advertised represents the tire's overall diameter in inches, once the tire has been properly inflated and mounted per the manufacturer's recommendation. This advertised number is provided to Priority Tire by the tire manufacturer.

Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life.
